Future Motion is starting to go modular

After many years of community pushing, Future Motion has taken it’s first steps into modularity, by selling the motor for the Onewheel GT-S Series.

This comes as a welcome first step to many of the community, but much more will be asked in coming months and years to make Onewheel fully modular.

One reddit user is even trying to install his GT motor onto his pint chassis.

Future Motion sues Floatwheel’s Tony Lai for Patent

In almost the same breath as starting the modular system, Future Motion files to sue Tony Lai’s Floatwheel. You can see the complaint here.

Jeff Mccosker released a video on The Float Life’s YouTube channel addressing the lawsuit and the whole scenario.

Mccosker draws some interesting parallels to the snowboard industry and the ways that Burton acted in the early days of snowboarding.
